Electrolysis

One of the biggest differences when comparing electrolysis to laser methods is that electrolysis requires multiple visits to cover a large area, whereas laser can cover that area in one visit.  Sometimes combinations of methods are used to achieve the ultimate results for permanent hair removal.

Electrolysis

• Works best for blond, gray, or red hair

• Requires multiple visits to cover one large area

• Disables hair growth through electric charge

• Uses probe on each follicle

Laser

• Works best for black and brown hair

• Can cover a large area in a single visit

• Disables hair growth by high-fluence light waves

• Glides across surface of the skin
